Swimming success!

Hi all,

We decided to skip church yesterday since our weekend was cut short by Mr. Fantastic's work and go swimming as a family! Mr. Fantastic was surprised at how well My Little Princess was swimming. He has not seen her swim since we started lessons. Perhaps you remember this post? Yes, he has not been able to swim for the past month which is about how long we have been doing swimming lessons. Can I just tell you that is was a great bonding and playing time for all of us?! And, with it being over 100 degrees all day, just what we needed to cool off.

Both of my children love the water. Mr. Chaos even figured out how to put his face in the water and blow bubbles (I have been working on this for months, y'all). This all makes me very happy because I love the water too. Always have. Not sure why, but I do.

Isn't it great that even though we did not go to church as a family the Lord provided such a great family time for all of us. He was totally present and I think we got more out of swimming than we would have at church. What a great God!

What are the family activities that you love to do and bring you closer as a family?

Blessings,
R

  2. Greetings from Lamb! Thank you for stopping by to show me some bloggy love. It was quite a shock to wake up and discover that I’d been featured on SITS, especially with my face covered in sticky cinnamon! Now I have lots of fun new blogs to explore. If you do try out my face mask, be sure to take a photo and email it to me. I’ll feature you in a post with a link to your blog :)
